HUNGER CRUNCH – WANT TO FIGHT HUNGER? LET’S EAT IT!

The world is really a very strange place. It has so many contrasting faces sometimes that it’s difficult to identify the ‘real’ one of them. So at one place when we’re eating at McDonald’s, right outside the door may we find others begging for their dinner. In fact, it’s very usual to find these two societies meeting up in the market, crossing each other with one ignoring the other while it tries to gain some attention. But that’s how the system works, right? I don’t know how many of you have assumed it as a truth but there are people with a straight “no” on your face and such people working for a NGO have developed a new iOS app to raise funds for feeding the orphan children. The in-app purchases of this app will go to the charity and after playing this game, I think they’ve earned a very good reason for that.

Hunger Crunch is one of the latest iOS apps that has been developed by Rice Bowls. The app is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch and iPad and requires iOS 7.0 or any later version of the OS. This app has also been optimized for iPhone 5, iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus.

Hungry Crunch is a very well designed and well-motivated app because “hunger drives you here”. The first and foremost thing to do is to stomp upon the hunger minions and kill them so that they can no longer make this plague expand in the world. But only hitting them won’t take you home alive. You must keep your starving stomach happy and the only way to do that is to eat as much candies as you can. There are some hidden collectibles on the way as well. So try to not miss anyone of them.

So how does the game work? All you have to do is keep jumping with simple taps on the screen. When you jump in the sky, you’ll collect candies but when you come down back on earth, you’ll stomp upon one of the minions and destroy them. There are also some jumping cushions which help you jump even higher. So if you can attain a series of such continuous jumps, it’d be even better. But keep your eyes wide open and clear when you fall on any object because it can be a bomb or a dangerous minion who’d take your life.

The app is certainly delightful and will appeal to young children. The cartoon themed characters, especially the beast on which our hero rides, are amazing and it’s an overall fun playing this game. There are boss fights as well to further raise the thrill quotient and a good healthy competition make sure you never get it too easy. There are many power ups you can earn with your candies or buy them via in-app purchases. So there’s always a gate open to the next level. You just have to figure out how!
