What is the role of a digger? Of course, to dig out the surface of the land for buildings, bridges, etc. But what if the friends of the digger are in some problems and the digger stops to help its friends? This is what we have in this new iOS app called Dusty the Digger. The app has been developed by FunLoop. The app is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch and iPad and requires iOS 5.0 or later version of the OS. The app has also been optimized for iPhone 5.
The story revolves around a digger called Dusty. It was on his way to work when it found that some of his friends are in problems. Some of those friends include Bees, Bunnies, Chickens, Puppies, Monkeys, etc. The problems are like the chickens are trapped and you have to lift the log of wood. Then you have to cross the river but there is no bridge. Then what you have to do is use that log of wood and place it on the river. This way your task is accomplished and you have made more new friends.

The game involves both fun and strategy. But still, it is mainly for 2-6 years old only because if you are older than that, you’ll find this stuff childish. The game is perfect for little children as there are many different cute characters that are crazy sometimes as well as there is good education regarding the decision taking ability. And over the top of it, it is all funny.
The graphics are cartoon themed and very simple yet effective. Though there are only two characters for free, you can access all the 6 characters by buying the remaining 4 for $4.99 via in-app purchase. But if you don’t want your children to be spending money on that, you can disable the in-app purchases and that makes this game a pretty safe one.
