There are numerous apps available for Android to manage your files. The app File Expert is one of them. This file manager is full of opportunities and in this review I will explain the features that are possible with File Expert. The app is free in the Google play store and also has offers-in-app purchases for more advanced options.

With File Expert you are able to manage your files easily on your phone. Whether you want to move a video, photo, document or another file, it is possible with this handy app. This smart file manager also supports USB storage devices. You can connect a USB OTG (On-The-Go) cable to your smartphone or tablet. If you want to connect to your files in the cloud, File Expert also supports Dropbox, Box, Google Drive, Yandex, SugarSync and Onedrive. The great thing is that files can be automatically categorized by file type. This way, you have quick access to your picture gallery, videos, music, and apps. With the built-in recycle bin you are able to get the files you’ve deleted with File Expert get back. Furthermore, File Expert also supports ZIP, RAR and 7zip archives. You are able to convert all types of files. The app also has a “safebox” where you can protect your files with a password pattern

Overall the app is very stylish, colorful, very clear and easy to use. You are able to find all your files and you can do all sorts of things with them:
– You are able to mail your files.
– You are able to convert your files (Word, Excel and PowerPoint to PDF.
– You are able to print photos, PDF, TXT and HTML files completely wireless.
– You are able to tag all your files in different colors and names.
– You are able to get an insight in your flash memory and internal storage to see how much space you got left.
– The app alows several network features: FTP client, FTP server, super downloader and cloud storage.
– The app includes a recycle bin, file shred and safebox, which I discussed previously.

I especially like the fact that I can protect some of my files with a password pattern. I want to be sure that nobody will get into my personal files when they have my phone. There are also a lot of options so I can organize all my files. I can rename a file, I can convert files to a ZIP-file and set a picture as my default phone wallpaper right in the app. The overall use of the app is very easy and logical so I don’t have to think about how the app works or have any any other problems. The categories (gallery, music, photos and apps) come really in handy to me to get an insight on what files are on my phone and I am able to clear up some space much easier by deleting files or moving them to my SD flash memory. I would recommend this app to everyone who wants to manage his files on his phone more properly.
