I’ve imagined it so many times! I am driving a car at high speed. I’ve just robbed the Mona Lisa painting from the museum of Paris and now I’m on a run. I love it playing run and chase with the cops. I liked the very idea of Highway Chase: you have to shoot at the speedy cars from a chopper and you have limited time to do that. Meanwhile, you can’t afford to shoot at any other passing by civil vehicle or it will cost you heavily. That time constraint brings all the thrill, excitement and risk on the table and you’re left with nothing but an expression of fright on your tense face. As the game goes down the neck, the road to victory keeps going narrower till you scream “Where’s the road?”.

But I must say that it’s not only the concept that makes it interesting but also the supporting graphics and visuals that make sure that this is something as real as you can believe. If you’re playing with toys, no matter how horrifying their faces are, you’ll still call them cute because they’re toys. But with Highway Chase, there are so many vehicles in a random motion just like our highways are. One accelerates, another one shifts the gears down and suddenly the positions so change that there’s an innocent head on your aim now. So while you must aim quickly and fire, you must be wise enough to leave when it’s not right. But then the game asks for your courage when there are bonus points on successive shots. So there are lots of aspects and if you can consider them all at a time, you may pass this exam!
