“Sir, your wife has an affair with another man”. This line reminds me of one person only – a detective and suddenly a picture comes to our mind where a person with fine moustache, wearing a long coat and a hat is smoking a cigar and carefully observing a person from a long distance hidden behind a tree. The role of detective has always been very interesting and a little bit dense with many shades attached to his character. He is sharp minded, cool and has a solution to any problem he faces. But this character is adult dominated and asking your child to be like him would not be a good advice. All parents want their child to be ideal and what better a child can be than an intelligent person who works for the welfare of the society! So let’s change the image of the detective that we have in our minds and replace it with a new one.

Little DetectivesK is the name of a group of school children that have found something wrong being going in their school. So they decide to solve the mysteries which are hidden from everyone’s eyes. A group needs to be strong in all the fields. So here we have Jina, Kyle and Noah that comprise a group that is strong both mentally, physically and all share a good aptitude as well, which is a must for such mind-boggling problems.

So how do they solve the cases? Well, they don’t just start catching the collars of everyone that they might have their eyes on and proceed sensibly. First of all, they find all the clues which help them to narrow down the number of suspects. Then they find the right map which will take them to the culprit. The final job is to solve the puzzle which in itself is a big problem. But the best thing about this app is that they don’t hurry up unnecessarily and handle each case with maturity. That’s something that you won’t find in a normal detective shown on TV or games. They all just magically track down the criminal and the viewers are always left fascinated with the idea of how intelligent he is and the question “How did he do that”?

The app helps children to develop logical skills, concentration and proceed in steps instead of taking long jumps that often lead you to a hole under your feet. Moreover, the graphics of this game will just carry you away. Cartoon themed graphics with some bright colours have been used and the characters themselves have been designed according to the role they are playing. There is time limit to each problem and with so many things bundled up inside one room, you’re left clueless at times. So better prepare yourself for something challenging.

Talking about the technical aspects of the app, it has been developed by PUBLSTUDIO and is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch and iPad and requires iOS 4.3 or any later version of the OS. This app has also been optimized for iPhone 5.

This app is available for free in the App Store though the complete version costs you $1.99. I don’t have any doubts regarding this app and neither should you. So, go for it!
